Hi guy's im new here and want a good recurve crossbow , it has to be reliable and the biggest game it would be taking down is probably deer ... it's just for the incase of TSHF SCENARIO , and need a decent string in the field crossbow

im i right that only re-curves can be re-stringed in the field ..

You can't go wrong with any of the Excaliburs.
You did not mention $$$ so have no idea what your budget is. If you are looking for a less expensive bow take a hard look at the Excalibur Axiom package. Great bow that will last a lifetime and will kill any animal found in the USA.

I personally shoot the Excal Vortex which is a 200 lb bow. Love it.

I just bought the Exocet. Similar to the Vortex, but without the thumbhole stock. So far I love the bow, and from the research I have done you can not beat there customer service! And yes they can be strung in the field.

Not to mention, all of the Excals are insanely accurate, once you get her dialed in with a good arrow setup & you know your range, look out!

Ya baby I am so glad I have my Exomag in the stable. I have injured myself and will not be able to use my compound bow this year which was the plan I wont even be able to climb a stand. At least I can ground blind it with my Exo!
