I have had excellent results with 125 gr. Montec broadheads. Don't get me wrong, there are excellent mechanicals out there, but I prefer simple as long as it works. And these have done great on white tails and feral hogs. As far as "killing", I can say the same for Muzzy and Thunderhead replaceable blade design. The Montec grouped so well out of my set-up, and am very pleased with them as far as clean kills, mostly pass throughs and almost always very good blood trails.

I use Parker (black ones) or Easton Power bolts with the Slick Trick 175 Grain Crossbow broadhead. I shoot deer pretty much at any angle. Dose not matter if he is quartering to me, straight on in the chest, head down between the shoulder blades, the 175 gr head penetrates far enough. Shot a buck last year quartering to me and the bolt completely passed thru exiting the opposite hind quarter. I am currently using a Parker Buck Buster 175. Now if you are new to hunting and especially archery hunting stick to the broadside and quartering away shots. I know my equipment and what shots I can take and shots not to take.

NAP Spitfires in 100 grain and Gold Tip Laser III bolts hit the same hole that my field points make. Laser IIIs use a brass insert that gives them a good FOC and the Spitfires are tough, very sharp, and extremely accurate. Hope this helps.
