Default Broadhead drop ????????

After starting a thread on here to attempt to get the right broadheads, I purchased the NAP Spitfire MAXX 100 grain on Saturday ( yesterday ) . Today I shot a field point first ( first shot since the two in Gander Mountain when I bought the crossbow). First shot was DEAD center !!!! Honestly DEAD DEAD center using the top dot at 20 yards. I then screw a Spitfire Maxx on the arrow and it hit approx six inches low... So I shot it again with the same results. So I aimed with the middle dot ( still at 20 yards ) and hit dead on My question is should I get that much drop just changing the field point to a broad head? I was told that the field points were 100 grain and they both balance the arrow at the same spot . Anyone else shooting the Spitfires Maxx that could help ? I have NO experience with a bow or crossbow so ANY help would be appreciated.

Alot of times a field pt & BH don't hit the same spot. I haven't shot the spitfire max so i really don't know whats going on with it. Best advice i can give you with a 3 dot is use middle dot sight in at 30 yds. the top dot should be very close at 20 & bottom dot on at 40 yds. Seeing how you have already shot the BH just use it to sight in yer dot scope. CB's don't tune in like vertical Bows do. Its the arrow we have to tune in with the CB.

Thanks for the reply. I am going to zero the scope in as you suggested .. Just hope that I am not losing THAT much velocity that quickly.
