Phoenix/Ibex, 175 draw weight, or Exocet/ Vortex, 2100m draw weight, at most. The 225 lb bows are overkill for deer. Much harsher shot, string wear. Flemish string, faster, stronger, quieter. Arrow, Gold Tip Lazer II with 110 gr brass insert, Blazer vanes. Boradheads: 100 gr Slick Trick mags or Nap Spitfire Maxx. Excal Lumizone scope, can be tuned to match trajectory. Excal rope ****er works great unless you need mechanical ****er. Crankaroo is so, don't purchase until you've tried rope ****er. Extra string, Stringer, sling and quiver should do it.

40 yrs well then you really don't want to be rope c0cking those 225 lb models much. Excals get their speepd by longer rail so it extends the weight out front. Get a stringer also & couple of 2097 flemish dacron strings fer on hand use
