Default Shot Placement - Deer Drop at Release

It seems like all the videos I have watched of bow and crossbow shots - the deer drop down a bit after hearing the release of arrow or bolt. Are you supposed to aim low on deer to account for this? If so, how low? I may be wrong but Seems like aiming at heart will score a double lung if they drop. Let me know what your experiences have been. Thanks.

aiming for the heart is your best bet....if the deer is relaxed...you get the heart...if it's tense and ducks...you get the lungs...shooting at a relaxed deer is always better than one on alert...
