Lots of good scopes out there Hawke, Ten Point both make good crossbow scopes; as well as Lumizone by Excal. Cheap ones usually don't work very well or very long.
Have question on your cross bow, Did you get a fortune cookie with it?

One more thing about modern crossbows...they shoot arrows.
Bolts are either things made to hold other things together....or....were used in Medieval times and shot from the crossbows of the time.
Crossbow "bolts" are very hard to get nowdays and comparitivly, not very accurate.

I believe these are the same crossbows.
Yours is the 1st one and the 2nd one is in sportsman guide.
They are rating them @ 310fps and both selling for under $150.00.

Don't be surprised if a better quality scope does not do the job either. Inexpensive bows often have alignment problems between the deck and the scope base. If the shooting high problem persists, you will have to shim up the (front) ring to lower the point of impact.
