even though i've never had a problem with my barnett(maybe i'm one of the lucky few)if i were you i would buy a different brand because of everything i keep hearing, even on other sites forums. better be safe than sorry for a first time buyer. i'm not bashing on barnett but sounds like they have too many reliability/quality problems lately.
