How do I judge a good Xbow scope? I am looking to get rid of my 3 dot true glo, like it can't figure how to shoot it. I have always been a scope guy. Need suggestions, scopes that work for you in hunting sitiuations.

Ummm...not to be a smart a$$...
But...if you've "always been a scope guy"...why would it be any different buying a crossbow type scope from a rifle or hand gun scope?

The big difference forthe crossbow...the crossbow specific eye relief and multi line retical (some reticals are illuminated)....
Otherwise...since you know/like scopes...you'd know what you like and what you don't!

awshucks and targethog thanks for the input. I have not put a lot of effort into Xbow in the past couple years doe to work and family obligations. The Tru Glo is not what I am comfortable w/ in a deer tense situation. Your reccomendations are appreciated.
MVV, I appreciate you not being a smart a_ _! Appreciate that your expertise on the Xbow precludes you providing a simple answer on a fiorum that is meant to help sportsman who have questions. You have now displayed that you feel these types of questions are beneath your knowledge base and are now should be considered by other Xbow sportsman of this sport an elite! Bravo! I assume that after this you won't be answering questions like mine fromfellow sportsman who don't have your elite Xbow proficiency and only answer the elites of your displayed proficiency who pose questions. I apologize for posting here and taking valuable space form your valued opinions.

My vote is for the new Hawke MAP or SR crossbow scopes. NICE! I have them on 4 crossbows right now and they are neat. Desert Stryker and Phantom- sighted in at 20/30/40/50/60/70 yards. Also, the price is right. If you are interested you can check the AT thread out ("OK, I guess we can........")

170, Thanks! What a trip :-) The show was great though, just airline problems going and coming home. I saw some really neat stuff and that made the trip worth it.
