Default Need a little help with a new xbow

First let me say I am going to a xbow because I have to due to severe nerve damage in my left arm and hand. It was corected with surgery to replace a disk in my neck but the damage has been done and I will never be able to shoot a bow again. I don't have a problem with xbows but just liked the extra challenge of having to draw with game around. I tore a rotator cuff several years ago and had to hunt with a xbow for part of a season but they have changed so much since then I don't know where to start.

I had a Barnett ,I think, and killed a couple deer that year with it. I bought a cheaper xbow because I knew I would only use it until my shoulder healed. Now I need a good one because I will use it from now on. I usually keep a bow 4 or 5 years unless something just grabs my eye. I think It will be the same with a crossbow.

I have seen good things about Ten Point and Excaliber. Anyone have any opinions as to what I will need.I shot Rocket exspandables with the old one if I remember corectly. Can I shoot my trusty Muzzys? I will need a cocking aid as I can't hold any weight in my left hand. Which ones work?

Thanks for taking the time to read all this,
SF

Ten Point has a package that includes a cocker that is built into the stock of the bow.
I prefer a 4 Bladed yet small/short broadhead like Slick Tricks.

you can try whichever BH you think will work, i can'tsay thatM---- BHword anymore.some can and will hit close to field pts. CB's there are many good ones and a few great ones out there. choose the type you believe you want and handle them see if its comfortable and cock it shoot it. won't take long to see which ones you really like and those you really want to run from!
