Default Horton String Changes

Seems to be a high amount of Hortons getting rerady for season. While I don't know where you guys can buy this lil goodie, you can make one in short order.

Just don't skimp on anything, lot's of pressure involved and you are eliminating the cam advantage. I made one for a friend and used an old bowstring.

are you saying that a bowstring would hold this?
man, i would be scared to death but you should know.

i would try to find a rod with threads on it and use a nut/washer and wooden dowel, slide something over threads where it would touch bow so it does not scratch bow or wrap tape around threads in that area, could do it,it think

what do i know anyhow

come on ppl. if the Bow string is safe shooting the Bow![]why isn't it safe using one as a stringer ?[:-]
sproulman i really wonder about you sometimes. you have the gall to post here like you love CB's but go to NE here on HNI and scream that were killing all your deer in Pa. man you don't own the 1st deer in Pa. the state does!

awshucks is kinder than i am, i will bust your chops![:@]we work so hard promoting use of CB's and you spew that stuff out of yours. go back to the other Bow Hunting & NE forums here and leave this one[][:-]

good point,BUT ole sproul would feel better with a solid rod or cable going accross in case i NICKED the string by mistake on something.

only thing is i dont think ROD would lay accross the rail to hit holes, so your string idea or strong cable would most likely work .
