Well, I finally took my xbow to the pro shop where I bought it, for it's 4 year check up. It passed with flying colors. Didn't even need a new catgut string. Then I inquired about some tracers for my arrows. I bought three and they installed two of them for me. I'll keep the third for a spare or for marking a kill sight since the tracers blink after 10 seconds like a bicon light. I get home to resight my scope as the tracers do add a little weightto the arrow. Well, they shot just like my other arrows and even like the practice rage broadhead. If anything, they shot just a tad high, sooo, that's gooda-dam-nuf for me. LOL. I shoot ten point pro elite carbon arrows with an QX4 ten point Xbow. NOw if I can just get those big bucks that I caught earlier this year and painted a big orange circle on their vital sides to come back by my stand when the season opens, I'll see if I can get one of them thar tracers thingys to light him up and make him do the monkey shine. LOL. Wish me luck cause them tracers ain't cheap!

Thanks coyote, btw, what kind of rancher you got? I just bought a new 400 Rancher AT and I like it. It's got 2 or 4 wd switchable and auto or straight drive switchable. It's cool.

Martin, that dar is one fine looking stand you got. Almost as good as mine, me thinks. I got my little buddy heater hard plumbed this year so's I can use the 20 lb. bottle of lp gas. Also, I got wall to wall carpeting, lights rigged for 6 volt rechargable batteries, a locking cabinet inside for stuff, a ceiling 6 volt fan for hot bow days, and a remote control, I'm in my stand and waiting for ya deer call. I keep up to date deer hunting magizines and a jar of peanut butter and some crackers for making fresh peanut butter crackers anytime I'm hunting. I just hate stale crackers, don't you? Anyway, it's notin' fancy, but it's home away from home. Oh! What was your question? Oh yeah, Them tracers were $16 a piece. I like them better than Lumanoks because the tracers start blinking like a becon after 10 seconds and you can find them better I think and you could use them to mark a kill until you return with the 4 wheeler for pickup.
I just love electronics deer hunting stuff. I can't wait for the star wars laser beam broadheads to come out with no arrow or bow cocking. You just point your crossbow and wish it fired and the laser beam broadhead hits old mossy pants in the heart and a siber borg hellie flies over the kill for quick pickup to the burcher shop. What a hunt. LOL What?! It could happen!

Martin, here's the only old picture of my stand. I've changed the ladder to steps now and made a few other changes but this gives ya an idea of the height. It's 16 ft. to the floor on mine, 22 ft. to theroof. I also put camo cloth around the base and drive my 4 wheeler right under the stand and park it for hunting. No more walking in now. LOL. I haven't bought any corn yet this year for the feeder. Wasn't planing on it since the price is so high, but when the season gets a little closer, I'll probably break down and pay through the nose for some. Oh well, deer have me sucked in again. LOL
