I wonder how the bottom vane clears the front of the crossbow? Is the tip of the arrow resting on the front metal piece or is it suspended? I suspect the bottom fletching takes a beating.

The cheek piece is pretty cool though. One 'Fugly' crossbow though . It almost HAS to shoot better than it looks.
