Darton / Great Lakes
Has anyone shot a Darton Stinger or Impact Crossbow? I've read many positve reviews and articles, but have yet to find anyone who has actually shot one? I'm bidding for one on ebay and am kinda hesitant to make a final bid without some feedback.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Spar -
I've got a Fireforce and a Stinger.
I'm very happy with both of them.
Most people can't get past the stock or bull-pup design. While I have used more comfortable stocks...they are...ok. Fit my full size hands nicely.
The trigger pull is smooth and sharp. My two have a short pull to let-off. I've heard the 08's have a longpull distance to the let-off...! Don't know. All I know...is they are very much like a rifle trigger.
I've had my Fireforce completely apart. The trigger design is very solid and should last many years with no change.
in feel.
I really don'tknow why(other than the bull-pup design!) more people don't use them.
At about 19 yards...I put on arrow inside the back of the last shot arrow with the Fireforce.
So are they accurate....yes.
I don't think you'll be unhappy...let it ride!
