Hey guys, just wanted to update you on my experience with the Lumizone. I am using a Horton Yukon, Horton Lightning Strike MX arrows, 100 gr FP, and Tasco High Rings.
Setting it up at 20 yards was very easy. Dead on in no time.
Shot at 40. Put speed dial at its lowest setting (250fps). Consistently about 2" low. No room to turn the dial down to raise POI.
Shot at 30. Dead on.
First, let me say, that this is more than good enough for me to live with and I am very pleased. However, I am wondering if my set up is a little too slow to get the most out of the scope. My bow was advertised at 260fps using the Horton LS2 arrows (discontinued). The arrows I am using are a little heavier.
Any suggestions to make a marginal improvement at 40 yards? Could a different arrow increase my FPS and put me on at 40? I'm not worried about 50. Heck, it is a dead deer at 40 as-is.
