My luck held out again this year. I had a 6 pt. run a nice size doe under my stand on the 2nd morning of my Northern Missouri hunt. I put a 125 gr. Wasp thru both lungs and recovered her within 40 yds. Two days later Imissed an easy shot at 15 yds on along bearded Tom because my arrow hit a small limb in front of the big boy. He sure had the luck on his side that morning. Our rifle season startson Sat. morning around these parts so my bow will have to take a brake for thenext few weeks. Congrats on yer deer. Thats what i do, hunt whichever season is on with that type of weapon.

I hunt the same. What ever is open with the weapon of that time unless I am out here slaving at work of course. I have to stay out here 4 weeks this time so no hunting stories from me........
