Has anyone ever made a adjustable shooting rest for a crossbow?
I have a couple friends that shoot crossbow and they have a hard time holding the crossbow up and being steady I was wondering if anyone has plans on how to make a rest that would stick in the ground and be somewhat adjustablee?
Thanks

The notch is for my Excals rails, there's screw in the ends of the wood piece. And, for you carpenters, yes, I know the hill-billy that hung that door should have scored the veneer w/ a razor knife before cutting the bottom off, lol.

I ordered a rifle bi-pod that I plan on modifying for my Pheonix. I am not a good free hand shooter of anything. I really like the crutch Idea. I will let you know if the Bipod works or not

I have a steddy-eddy on my TenPoint Pro Fusion But for My Excal I use my ajustableMono podshooting stick, works just as good as my steddy eddy and was about 75 bucks cheeper, the only real differance is it doesnt attach to the Vortex witch is fine.
awshucks.....like the crutch deal, didnt even think about that one....

I Mickey moused a couple of kids crutches per Dan's suggestion months ago. I just leave them in my ground blinds and if they get stolen so what. I can always grab a pair from another kid. They can't run very fast once you have the crutches.
I also bought the knee pod from Horton. Just to bulky to carry around so it sits on a shelf.
