Default Phoenix Bolts

I need a little more help. From what I've read the series 2 gold tip carbon bolt seems to be very popular. Used with the Phoenix, which would be the best choice for me ? I cant tell one from the other. They all look the same. All I know right now is that it should have a total weight of 350 grains and an outside diameter of .300".

Hey you can shoot 2216 & 2219 alum. or GTII's or carbon express or easton's powerbolts. You really want more than the min. 350gr. arrows. 380 up to 700gr. are good and are less stress on CB and its limbs and strings. Only time i shoot lightweight arrows is in 3-D shoots.

Is there a happy medium between 380 and 700 gr. ?

My Pheonix loves Easton Power Bolts. Under $5 bucks a pop. I think they weighed in at 321gr. without a head which will be 100gr. I am sure they shoot better than I do so I'm just fine. Sure not afraid of a 30 yard shot but that would be pretty much it regardless of the arrow.
I think there must be better arrows out thereand I would get them in a minute IF I thought they would improve my accuracy. It's like my rifles I guess. The guns might shoot 1 inch 100 yard groups but I never will.

Like Planter said powerbolts are good and with 100 pt. weigh 421 gr. 2216 with 100 gr. pt. around 400gr. I shoot 2216's with my Miss Phoenix and they get gone in a hurry!

I believe the .300 on carbon bolts refers to stiffness....actual diameter for all xbow bolts is .345" or 22/64".....64
