Default One Pin

On my Bow I only have one Pin,I've had it set at 30 yards and have had good luck with it.

But I'm thinking of just setting it at 20 yards. For the fact most my shots are around 20 yards and I won't shoot over 30 yards anyway.

What do you Guys think?

I would try it at 25 1st then shoot 20 and 30 to see how it hits....but if you are sure of your shooting lanes being at 20 23 18 15 yrds the 20 would be fine but other then that I would try 25...

I agree with Ranger I would set it at 25 and aim a little low at 20 and a little high at 30.

for my woods I would set it at 20 and hold high for 30. I have never shot a deer more than 20. Most of my shots are well under including straight down 0 yards out. Thats just me though.

Its a no brainer IMO 20 yds dead on , next time in your stand check all possible shooting lanes with a rangefinder , make a mental note anything that would require you to raise your pin on the deer, shoot and practice anything outside of 20yds ,pluss to know your drop, I've killed alot of deer with my 20 yd pin on my compound, very very seldome needed a 30 or the gap inbetween. But know your arrow drop, so you don"t have to guess, you'll do fine. good luck.

i'm a firm believer in one pin at 20 yds. i rarely have to shoot beyond 20yds and no need to adjust for anything 20yds and in. 3"holdover at 25yds and you've got it covered. good luck.
