Default Casio Pathfinder PAS410B-5V

Have any of you got or seen this watch:

Casio Pathfinder

It has a hunting timer. Youprogram it to your GPS coordinates and then by moon phases and positioningit tells you peak deer time movement. Some people over on AT are swearing by it.It's relatively inexpensive andI need a new hunting watch anyway. I might venture out to Wally World and check it out. If I do I'll be sure to let everyone know how well it does or doesnt work.

looks kinda neat.....how much ?.
right now my magellen tells me best times to hunt/fish but if you can juat put in your location/log/lat that would be cool, but if you left your area(went on a trip)then you would have to have a GPS to reset it....But it still sound cool.

I went out earlier to run some errands and stopped by Walmart. I ended up getting the watch for $40.00. You can find it online a tad cheaper for around $35 on Ebay but I am going hunting this weekend and didn't want to take a chance on whether I would receive it before I leave on Friday.

You basically have to set up 3 things in order for the watch to calcuate the peak hunting times. You have to set GMT differential, longitude, and lattitude for the location you plan to hunt. You can easily change this information if you hunt different locations. I entered my settings and got on a website to verify moon phases. The watch is spot on on every detail including moon phase, sunrise, and sunset. You can also view upcoming dates (up until year 2039) to see future peak hunting times. You can also set a vibration alarm to notify you of when a peak times comes along.

Overall it seems worth the money. As I said I needed a new hunting watch anyway so if the Hunting Timer works it's an added bonus. Even if it doesnt it has enough other features to come in quite handy during the hunting season.

Fishead, here is where you will get the best deal on the watch (if you havnt already got it from Walmart):

http://www.xcelwatches.com/servlet/the-429/Casio-Pathfinder-Watch-PAS410B-dsh-5V/Detail

It's only $29.95 with free shipping. I would have got mine from here but for one it was temporarily sold out on Tuesday and two I really wanted to have it in hand before this weekend.

As for finding the moondataonline somewhere, I have no idea. I bet if you do some searching you can find something that calculates exactly what this watch does.
