Default New Scope on the way

I mentioned in an earlier post that I just bought my first crossbow - a Horton Legand 175 with the Horton red dot scope. I personally don't care for the red dot scope so after reading all the posts about the Excel LumiZone scope, I ordered one. I am anxious to receive it and get it on my CB and get it sighted in. Our deer season opens Oct. 1.

I also ordered a cocking rope. Is there anything special a person should know about using one?

When using the rope, shorten it so that when you put one hook on you have to pull the bowstring up at least 3-4 inches to hook the second one. Not only keeps the rope in place but makes cocking effort easier.
