I have a half dozen BIG well feds white oaks in my yard and by the looks of them the crop is gonna be huge. These things bounce off the mv's like hail. Bet there will be tons of them and could fill bushels.
Would it be baiting if I just dumped them out in the white oak patches I hunt? Probably yes but it sure would be great.
There are tons of oaks around here but one tree may be loaded and the next one might have zip. I know thebeeches have a good crop going here but the deer don't "seem" to think much of them and they don't eat hickory on a bet. Must be to much work..Geez I wanna kill sumpin....

yes, if you take ACORNS out in woods, during season ,it is baiting..

this is how some were getting bears in my hunting area, they were putting out acorns from city in truck loads, i saw trucks they had half ton in each..

on the white acorn thing, i found over years when it is OFF YEAR ,i still have acorns IF i put fertilizer around acorn tree..

deer from all over will head to that tree in off year and if you have 3 trees real close,oh my......

i found out the fertilizer sticks dont seem to dissolve as fast as the granular or powder..

i dig small holes and pour the fertilizer in holes, rain will dissolve it faster to roots..

i did it again in my yard on my black walnut tree this year and big nice looking walnuts are dropping again..

it works ,trust me, deer will come..............
