Hello All,
Brand new here so I'm just saying Hi. I bought my first crossbow last year but couldn't hunt with it because I had to wait to get tested for a shoulder injury so I could get the permit we need in Wisconsin to hunt with a crossbow. Anyway, I got the permit and will hunt with it this year, can't wait. I have two questions. What do you guys think of the Barnett Wildcat and how in heck do you make it a little bit more quiet? The sight in went pretty darn good as I'm at 20 yards with 3 bolts in a 3" circle but the noise just bugs me. Thanks for listening

Thanks for the responses. I just didn't expect the CB to be that loud. I shot a Martin wart hog for years until I screwed up my shoulder and never had the noise. I thought maybe there was a way to quiet it down but hey, once the shot is taken it really dosen't matter.

It may not be as loud as you think I am new to this crossbow thing and my first shot I thought oh my god I'll never kill anything with this bow but then the grandkids shot it and it was a whole different ball game a lot of what I thought was noise was vibration through the wood stock it seems to be fairly quiet for a crossbow when you stand back and listen get someone else to shoot it you may be surprised.

Well I would have to say that is the first time I have ever been called a fierce puppy!! LOL!! People like me, Mike,(Smoke) andDan, Don and others havebeen here since the CB forum had started and like to have fun with each other. I would have to put Mike in the Comical/grumpy grizzly bear category for how he calls me out on my post sometimes! LOL!! All good friends having a good time. Keep posting Chris and you will fit in just fine!

Also, I don't get up early, for me its calledSWING SHIFT!! Sometimes I sleep and sometimes I am just up all night!!
