Default Got me one - Thanks guys!

So I broke down and finally ordered a Cross-bow today.

Excalibur Vortex

I have been lurking on this board for quite a while to see what you guys feel is the best out there... It basically came down to the Excalibur's and the Ten Points.

I LOVE the ten points, but the cost to me is too prohibitive for the one I want (Phantom). I went to the Ohio Deer and Turkey expo today and looked at them, they are really amazing, but at nearly 2 grand, while I could afford it, I see no reason.

The Vortex is everything I am looking for; a powerful, fast, great looking, short thumbhole stocked, cross-bow. I purchased the "Right Stuff" package, with the scope.

I will be shooting Slick Tricks with it, but haven't decided on bolts and/or stings... I will see how the ones that come with it are before swapping them out I guess. By the way, Slick Tricks are amazing, I shot them with my Bow last year and at 20 yards was able to put it through the shoulder blade of a mature doe and take out both lungs!

Thanks again!

Congratulation! I shoot an excalibur as well. You did good thing to buy whole pkg. it saves you alot of $ in the long run. The excalibur x-bows are deadly accurate, good choice and great hunting!
