tom, you have GRIT..you are open to opposite views..DNK, was my friend,he helped me a lot but does not want to hear TRUTH of what is causing so much bad feeling when it comes to crossbows..sad, he seems like nice guy and very helpful..
will a troll change, yes,tom,when crossbows are legaliized this bad feeling the archery hunters have will be gone..those same hunters WILL be using a crossbow..except SPROULE,unless i get to point i cant pull my bear kodiack anymore..will i hate all crossbow hunters in woods,YES,but i went through this when the compound hunters arrived..

pydpiper, come down to to corpus christi, i got a remodel job im working on, in a condo, and its jus to hard , im tellin ya.....the sun is out, no wind, and man im lookin at the water right now, and sayin to myself, (mental note to self) "your sure u dont wanna go fishing today".......lol

PS. IN TEXAS I CAN ONLY USE A CROSSBOW IN GENERAL SEASON, WHICH I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH, CAUSE AT LEAST THERES A SEASON I CAN USE IT IN.........

The main reason there are more ARCHERY HUNTERS is more people realize its more of a challange to go out with a bow then a long gun,weather it be-longbow-recurve-crossbow or compound and some do it to double thier chances at getting a deer.
I know guys that bowhunt,riflehunt,pistolhunt,BPhunt and can take up to7 deer....Now thats what I call overkill..Do they realy need all that meat or are they just out for the kill and to brag or are they rack hunters.
Iam out there for the challange and hopefully meat,most yrs I only take one doe other yrs I might take two depending on size and luck.

The new season, established for this year, provides additional opportunities for hunters wishing to use crossbows.
