if your going to get an Excal I would say that the Phoenix is the pic of the litter.. but if you are over 6foot you might want to consider the Exocet..

Another alternative, regardless of your height or model bow is to just shorten the rope cocker to the point you have to pull the string back bare handed 5 - 6" to get the second hook on. I think the point Henry is trying to make is those two models are virtually the same, except the Ecet has a longer stroke and you can run out of arms, lol. Trust me on this, the Emax is a brute!! I am 5'11" tall so I should be fine. I will be taking back the Barnett quad 400 tomorrow and then going to look at the Phoenix tomorrow afternoon. I think before I buy it though, that I will post on here everything that will come with it and the price as well as what the salesman says. That way y'all will be a better judge about what I am looking at.

At 5'11" you fit into the Exocet. Although you don't need more power the strenght needed to cock it isn't a big deal. I am 5'3" and easily have the strength to cock it. But then again you don't need more than the Phoenix. Its just greed after the power of the Phoenix. Have fun tomorrow.
