I have 4 new horton carbon strikebolts that I can not get to group right out of my RT 175. The alum. easton xx75 2219 that came with the package shot great. So if someone has 4lightning strikell bolts (2219)and would like to trade for the carbons just let me know.

RE: trade
Try weighing them and checking to see if the moon nocks are lined up w/ cock feather/vane right. Give Horton a call, maybe they will know or replace them. Hey Bra! used to live in Chauvin, down the bayou from Houma!

Hey Awshucks, sometimes I work down in Chauvin. I love going down there,Where did you move too?
I will have to find a place that can weight them for me. What should they weigh? The book said 442 gr. They do not shot low just will not group close ( 4 to 5 inches ) apart. I will check out the noks, didn't think about that. I shot them with 100 gr. Also can the type of point make a differance alum. has round pointand carbon has a step down point.

Lol, I had a coonazz show me how to make a scale as accurate as any triple beam. We were dividing up some dried shrimp, lol [don't go there] and he just took a wood yard stick and hung two alligator clips on the ends, at 1" and 35". Drilled two holes there for foot long strings. Use a thread and a staight pin to find dead nuts center on the opposite thin side and voila! A dollar bill [whole one] weighs 1 gram or 15.34 gr. A nickel is 5 grams or 15.34 X 5=76.7 gr. You got a handful of 100 gr field tips and you can add two identical baggies to hold the weights. Cut a dollar up in fourths or fifths to get partial weights and you're off to the races. I left Chauvin in '85 but Aaron Robichaux ran the pool hall/bar on the bayou side.
