Default a little slow

mind you, i'm not complaining....i absolutely love this exocet 200 but ads state 320 fps. with the laser2 wt 370gr with the broadhead i'm getting 300 fps. my hunting set up will be 2219's which weigh 465 gr. they chrony at 282 fps. still plenty quick. i just wondered are you guys getting the advertised speeds with your xbows?

shewe, the speed they state is using a minimum weight arrow. Say like 2114 or 2213 at 350grs. I use 2219's at 20" feathers wrap alum.inserts 100gr. pts./B'Heads comes out 494grs. chrony says 279 fps with the Flemish Fast Flite string.[8D]

The advertised speed is gotten using the FFF string and the 350 grain GT arrows Excaliber is no longer going to make the FFF string so I am sure they will provide updated info on the speeds you prolly have the standard Excal string on your Exocet my Exocet croneyed at 301 using the FFF string and shooting GT L II at 431 grains.

Herd that from Bill T. they are going to quit making it this year because of the isshues of limb damage when using it and having the dreeded dryfire, he said it was not a problem till they went with the forward mounting limb system
Dan Miller told me he was still going to be offering them.. but that could change might after Excal stops offering them they may no longer warrenty them if you use the FFF not sure on that Bill T. could answer that one.
