Hey planter, thanks for the back up im just not good at this internet stuff. i read the forum, i have to say that i am old school and am a little weary of the mechanicals, for instance last year was the first year i went to carbons for my compound. wow what a difference but i did go through a bad batch. still weary of them. i went and got a half dozen G-5's today and they grouped pretty good but i will admit that i also put them on brand new bolts. could this have made a difference? i didnt have any misses that would have distorted the other ones i was using.sorry if i got offensive last night but i have no clue as to the name thing those guys were talking about.

Hey brian we are not a mean bunch. Its just that sometimes anti hunters or anti crossbowers come in here and lay some bait and then things get outa hand pretty quick. Early thinks, (not saying he is right or wrong) that he seen your name as john the first time he looked. I do not know cause I did not look. All I do know is that right after your first post planter called you brian and his post was pretty close to yours. If early seen your name as john it was a real quick spot. Its just sometimes we get defensive and try and weed out the anti's right from the get go and it looks as some how you fell into this cross hair. I feel its just a misunderstanding but keep posting and prove us wrong, the more members the better!

OK u folks quit being ugly to the newbes that come seeking info! If they turn out as a bad apple we will deal with that then. We can put our energy into bashing equipment or squirrels worn out Dorton. Thats lots more fun!:D

Eh Riggs i shoot a barnett quad 300 at 343fps and i use mechanicals i had the same problem a couple yrs ago and when i switched to mecs my prob went away and now i shoot 125 gr shock waves give them a try. Doesnt hurt.

Riggs, use a heavier arrow set up, do a nut and bolt check to make sure all fasteners are tight and check those arrows for straightness.
