Hey Squirrel, this is a true story, not a joke. When I was about 18 I had a pet squirrel. It free ranged (go figure) in my house full time, we did not let it out cause I didn't want it to get fleas and stuff. Anyhow, it was like a watch dog. When someone came into the house I would jump on anyone entering the house and I would have to pull it off. It never bit me but bit my mom twice then I had to let it go into the wild. I was soo sad, bummed me right out! Any how I just thought of it right now and had to share that with you. I had to tell my friends"watch it when you come to my house we got an attack squirrel". Looks like I'm home again and I am happy!

haha actually i have had 6 pet squirrels. 3 died when they were young and we raised others and let them go. we had then at different times and we finally made a home/cage for it. it was 2 cylinder tubes, one was a big open one, one was a small one for a nesting area. well we let that one go because it was getting in heat and stuff and it was hilarious to watch it go. it would take two steps and jump in the air, becuause that's what it had for room when it was in the cage. it did that for about 300 yards! the funniest thing i ever saw. it was named squeeker. then the other one pushed the cage to where there was a hole in he bottom becuase it had no floor and it was on a workbench, and slipped out of the garage never to be seen again. sly was his name. then the best one we had. squack. he was the only survivor of the 3 that died. he was in the house all the time, crawling and jumping around. heck he'd sleep in your shoes so you had to be careful to look in the shoe before you put it on. he was soooo cool. we had him since before he had his eyes open. one day he got hungry and when my mom went to give him his food, he latched on in the web of her thumb and pointer finger. i guess she started flinging him around and he let go smacking the wall. he ran at her again and missed so she went back inside. well he left then. it was weird. the other 3 that died's names were. fly boy (red squirrel) honkey town (red squirrel) and one eyed jack (black squirrel) he was cool. i wish he woulda lived. i think we have pics of some of them on a flopy. its on the other computer tho. so i'l have to put it on later. i'm home with a really bad sprained ankle. yea so now my mom says to get revenge on the squirrels hense the name "the squirrel". they even call me that at family reunions![8D]

Sounds like my house when I was a kid. Mine bit my mother when she was pulling it out of a bucket of water and pinesol. It seems like they have no respect for anyone other than its best pal. Mine slept with me and didn't like anyone else. I really miss mine too.[>:] I get too atached to animals. I cried for weeks when I had to let it go. I wouldn't go away near my house so I let it go an hour away. Check out this pic. One of my redneck friends sent this and asked if it was me....no way, I shot a 5X5, LOL.
