For hunting, how much practice do you do out of your stand or blind?

Onced zeroed to my satisfaction, I like to fire a dozen or so shots at decoys from 10 to 40 yards in all postions. I also will set the decoys at 45 and 50 yards to know what to expect and plan not to take such shots unless it's a once in a life time situation.

I also practice opposite shoulder shots to be prepared for that situation should it arise and a normal should shot not be possible, since it has happened to me with a rifle and I've switched to the opposite shoulder and made the kill.

I have two stands I use,one tree stand like I hunt from, then one that is only 10' just to use to be able to set in it like my reg. tree.
then I also shoot from a chair on the ground, in case I use my blind.I shoot from all positions, setting , standing, turned around???just as sure as you don't, thats the way he will come from.

I shoot several times each day for a few weeks befor the season just to be sure its the same every shot.my wife shoots 5 shots a day.she can't pull the bolts out so she has to wait till I get home.

if you don't shoot from a tree, you will not get the feel of what may happen.
