RE: Any simple venison roast recipes?
I made a moose roast last week that was awesome. For seasonings I used salt, pepper, garlic powder and Johnnys Seasoning salt, threw it all in the crock pot with about 1/2 a can of Coke, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, about a half can of milk, sliced up some onions, carrots and potatos and let it slow roast all day. Best road eva!

- 2-5# Venison Roast
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
- two cans water
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
Put the meat in a dutch oven (big pot with lid). Add salt and pepper and other spices as preferred. Put all the soups and water over the meat. Bake for about 3 hours at 275-300 degrees. Drippings and soups make excellent gravy!

As someone said, water and Lipton Onion Soup in the crockpot with the roast on low all day. Make some mashed taters, gravy and biscuits and you are set! Tender enough to cut with a fork and you can't tell the difference between it and beef roast!
