I made a moose roast last week that was awesome. For seasonings I used salt, pepper, garlic powder and Johnnys Seasoning salt, threw it all in the crock pot with about 1/2 a can of Coke, 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup, about a half can of milk, sliced up some onions, carrots and potatos and let it slow roast all day. Best road eva!

- 2-5# Venison Roast
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
- two cans water
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix

Put the meat in a dutch oven (big pot with lid). Add salt and pepper and other spices as preferred. Put all the soups and water over the meat. Bake for about 3 hours at 275-300 degrees. Drippings and soups make excellent gravy!

As someone said, water and Lipton Onion Soup in the crockpot with the roast on low all day. Make some mashed taters, gravy and biscuits and you are set! Tender enough to cut with a fork and you can't tell the difference between it and beef roast!

Put roast & marinade in ziplock bag and remove all air than seal.
Put in fridge over night.
Put roast & 1/2 of the marinade in slow cooker.

-trim fat and membranes
-brown on both sides
-add 21/2 cups of water along with two packets of pork flavor seasoning(you can get it out of a pack of ramen noodles).
-1tbsp of catsup
-2 splashes of soy sauce into crock pot
-many whole cloves of garlic
-1pack of frozen peas
-1pack of carrots
-1small bag of red gold potatoes.
-1small bag of corn
-1 cup of brown sugar
-1 box of jumbilay rice
-Add all ingredients into crock pot while meat is browning(except the vegies). Place roast into crock pot, let it cook for about 10-12 hours. On the 8th hour add your peas, carrots, potatoes and corn, and sprikle with brown sugar all over roast and veggies with some salt and pepper. Let cook for about 2-3 more hours.
After roast is done make your jumbaliaya rice and serve with roast. Enjoy

2 to 3 lb roast
2tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion
16 oz salsa
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
14 1/2 oz beef broth
4 oz can mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon parsley
3 tablespoons of flour

In a dutch over or large heavy pot, brown venison roast in oil. Add onion; cook until soft. Add all remaining ingredients except for flour. Cover and simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until venison is tender, turning roast ocasionally. Remove roast and set aside on serving dish and cover to keep it warm. To make the gravy, dissolved the flour in 1/4 cup warm water. Add 2 tablespoons of the hot cooking liquid from the roast drippings and blend well. Add flour mixture to cooking liquid and cook until thickened stirring constantly. Season to taste with salt and pepper and served sliced roast with mashed potatoes and gravy.
