Default Venison Meatloaf

1-1.5 lb deer burger
1 brat, casing removed and chopped (I used Ketter's PepperJack cheese but Italian would work)*
2-3 strips of bacon chopped*
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 C oatmeal
1/2 C Stove Top dressing
1/2 onion chopped fine
1 C
sauteed sulfur shelf mushrooms, with juice
Season with Lowery salt, Cavender's Greek Seasoning, black pepper
Mix well, turn out into greased bread pan

Combine 1/2 C BBQ sauce with 1/2 C of Ranch dressing, spread on top of meatloaf

Bake at 350, uncovered, for approx 1.5 hrs

*To add a little fat, my ground venison is VERY lean.

Served with garlic mashed baby red potatoes, brown gravy with honey mushrooms.
I defy anyone to tell me that don't taste Goooood! Much less venisonee!!(sic)

Oh ya, baste the inside of the cook liberally with Cabernet while meatloaf is baking.

NEWLY DEVELOPED FROM MY KITCHEN; send on my string and can phone
