Bear meat

The way I see it (and I have tried it 3 different times) is to cook it on a piece of hardwood plank and lots of spices and bar-b-que sauce. When it is done just throw the meat away and chew on the plank for a while.. I just can not get to like the taste of bear meat period although I have heard it makes the best sausages you can get..

Well I guess that would be an idea haha but I need to try the meat first to see if I don't like it!! Then I'll try the wood idea!! But cooking it on a piece of wood like that is a good idea. Something like apple or hickory would be an idea to try! Thanks!
