I'm starting to think that the guy at the meat packing place in Wy gave me someone elses meat.....
Thats very possible. Especially since it was ground meat. He probably just put all of it in a big tub and ground it all.

I don't think I've ever had this happen with big game but sat down to pheasant dinner last year and bit down on #6 shot.
Heaven only knows how much bird shot we've all accidentally ingested.

Just keep the number of your dentist handy.

My uncle killed a 3-4 year old buck last seasonand when he was butchering it he found about5 bird shot pellets in it's rear hip and they where healed over too like what Phil from manie had. He thinks some one in the mountans around where i live was trying to scare the deer away fromthere garden.

I shot a rabbit once that had a piece of 7 1/2 shot in it, I know it wasnt mine cuz at the time I used #4 shot. No big deal i just dug it out and pressed on. When i eat squirrel you can periodicaly hear the ping sound of me spitting out the buckshot on the glass plate, getting me looks of disgust from my family lol [8D]
