Beef/ Deer Jerky
4lbs. Lean, gristle free beef or venison
2/3cup. Water
2/3 cup. Soy sauce
2 teaspoons Salt
1 ½ teaspoon ground lemon pepper
1 ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¾ teaspoon ground red pepper
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoon liquid smoke
Marinate the meat overnight in a covered glass bowl in the refrigerator.
Press the meat out on a cutting board the take a knife and cut it into strips 5 inches long by 2inches wide and 1/8 inch thick.
Drain & place the strips on lightly oiled dehydrator. Add more or less pepper to suit your needs.
