Venison stew

Cubed Venison
Cubed potatoes and carrots
One small onion, diced
Small bit of garlic

Cook in heavy cookpot or dutch oven. Brown meat with onion and garlic and cover with water. Put in enough water to fill about half the pot. Add beef bouillion to taste. It usually doesn't take much.

About an hour before you want to eat, add potatoes and carrots. Thicken broth with flour and water or cornstarch and water.

One pot cooking and very warming on a cold night.
