I guess, at least here in Texas the NEA has pushed some liberal positions on issues. Maybe it does originate from teachers, but I have a lot of relatives that teach from the elementary school level all the way through college. They are a mixed bag of liberals and conservatives.

I wouldn't worry about this too much, the majority of posts here are good and shouldn't put hunting in a bad light.

I've brought this same point up about some of the TV specials and I'm not talkng about our channels like Outdoor or OLN. It's expected there, but when a rancher on that Hogzilla NGC special, shot a hog with a M-14 and had him sqealing and flippin on film I could only imagine what they were planning to do with it. I love to stand up for what I believe as well, but we have to do it smart and in a way that it cannot be used to take anything from us. It's called strategy and sometimes you gotta duck. One step back can lead to ten steps foward. It was a good reminder ShadowAce!
