This is a no-brainer for an idiot like me. What's a gun?

Wapiti all the way! The rut, a bow in your hand and a chance to bugle in a 500 to 1000 lb critter! The calling interaction can be very intense not to mention the actual approach of a bull elk! Good luck!

I would take the elk in a second.

A couple of guy from my hunting camp go to Canada every year and hunt caribou. The said they drive out to these huge praries and shoot them from 200-250 yards as they migrate. If you could change that to a bow hunt/ stalk, I would go in a second. I just have a thing for getting as close as I can to my prey. I like to hear them breath and eat as they pass by.

Either way you can't go wrong though.
