Actually the correct way to score a doe is the same method for scoring a bear. Clean the skull, measure front to back and then from side to side. add the two numbers together and divide by two for your score.

Next season we should have doe contest.
I may actually have a shot at winning that one

wouldn't want to bring glory and admiration upon myself
lmao............that's the only reason I didn't post mine

My 04 buck was no giant but a nice py deer for neck of the woods I hunt. I am very interested in what is deemed a "big" buck in relation to geography.

For me, a deer in the 130's or better is a big buck......

Adams I think you are pretty funny. We saw that buck twice in the early morning. He was about 50 yards away and came no closer. If we shoot him this year he will blow away the buck shot in Iowa. We keep tring to get pictures of him but never can because he is either to far or it is to dark. We are going to put up trail cameras this year and I know we will get him on camera so I can prove you wrong and show you we have a buck that big![8D] I like all the bucks I've seen so far and I hope to see some more.

I was actually joking in reference to the spread from ear to ear but in all honesty I don't think I have ever taken a picture with a doe. But then again I haven't taken very many pics with bucks either.

I'm glad you have a good sense of humor about it. I haven't seen you around lately and just couldn't resist. Congrats on a sucessful season I'd love to see a pic of your buck and I am even more interested to see the monster you talk of. Maybe with a bit of luck you'll bump Tony Louvstein from the top spot next season. To do it with a bow would be even sweeter.
