Just bought my 1st bow!

1st compound anyways, I have an Excalibur Exocet x-bow that I plan to use till I'm good enough to hunt ethically with my new Proline Sniper. I'm not sure if Proline is a good name but I took your advice and tried a bunch, this one felt really good and could accomodate my short (26"
draw length.
Thanks for the great help you guys (& gals) gave when I was firing off questions, I can't wait to take advantage of the longer archery season, 2 weeks just isn't enough and up here our rifle season doesn't coincide with the rut so I'm really excited to be in the bush when rattling might actually work!

tschaef,
congratulations and adding to what HuntingBry said, What matters is how it feels and shoots to you!
Good Luck this fall!

My advice to you is this especially this year. Know the range at which you can shoot accurately. Once you know this, go hunting, and don't shoot past it. It maybe only 10 yards, but that's OK.

Melcome to the bowhunting world!
congrats on the new bow. I admire you for not hunting with it for a while. That is the ethical thing to do.The great thing is you will have a lot of fun just shooting paper or 3-d in the back yard. It's great practice.
