i was in the woods settin up some shooting lanes for my buddies tree stand..... but i'm gettin ahead... i was walking into his stand and i was making a lot of noise and yelling and cusing cause of the thorns and everything so i didn't think anything would be near me.... I was wrong.... I walk into his stand and all of a sudden i hear phphphhphphphph (you know when they smell you then run away) i look to my right and there's a doe 5yards away running away from me..... so i thought good now i don't have to worry about any deer bein near me..... wrong again..... I'm pulling down some stuff that's in a shooting lane, making a lot of noise and all of a sudden i hear this thunderous crashing comeing from the field that he's (my friend) set up next to.... i hear this for like 10 seconds.... this guy was bolting towards me.... i stop and think...DEER i look to where it's comeing and it stops.. then i hear this huge CRASH, he broke the hedge line he comes into view (bout 15 yards) and all i see is rack...... nice body didn't see it too much so i can't judge weight and i'm sittin thick cover... But i could count sick good points on this bruiser and i know he had to be at least 8 maybe 10. then he starts tearing up trees with his rack.... dropped his velvet already too. He walked to within 5 yards, stopped and just looked at me..... i thought i was gonna get my butt kicked... hahahha. Well he finally turns around and calmly walks away... i got right outta there.... causethe bucks here are starting to get really territorial.... I figure that he halled butt into me cause he thought i was another buck (you know all the ruckus i was making) i figured he was looking for a fight!!!!! hahaha anyway so my buddy is set up there and my othe buddy is set up on a huge buck near him (i can tell cause of the track i saw..... bigger than my index finger, and i have big hands..) and my set up is great cause i see droppings al over the place and a couple nice fresh ones from today.... plus all the trails. well as always

P.S. maybe with luck you guys/girls will find out the true meaning to knuckles up but only time will tell, season isn't til Oct. 15 so you'll just have to wait

Maybe thats a good thing happening with you.

I hope you didn't ruin the area for your buddy, or mess up that bucks normal travel corridor. It is nice to see the sign in the area though.

I didn't know that they kept "official" records of people getting the piss scared out of them!

Not the same story for me, but I've been up close and personal with a buck also. Some very tense moments!

Well at least your buddy got a good spot.About the only problem I have with piss is pisiing on myself when I have a couple layers of clothing on and it is like 5 degress. Now that pisses me off or on!!!!

i guess it's a good thing deer aren't attracted to humans then right??? The rut is starting to kick in... Yeah i'll get that buck alright, even tho it is my buddies stand. I'm gonna hunt it when he's not.... He has a spot for a climber on the other side of the woods but I got something for that buck alright... It's called a carbon express with a 4 blade muzzy flying right at his vitals. Piss on that buck!!!!! hahahaha
