I think Im leaning towards a DZ. Ill keep the Muzzy on my back up bow. I have no complaints about my mz or quick tune. Both work great. You all know how it is, get a new bow and you want to try new toys with it. Ive looked at the shakey hunters, they seem to be the same as the quick tune.

You have the best MZE

Question for you Ill-cornfed , will the dropzone work on the new bowtech bows that want a 15/16's centershot ?
I can tell you that it works great on my Patriot. They also have great customer service. They had a small problem with mine when I got it (not common problem) and they immediately sent me another bracket in the mail without even asking me to provide proof of purchase.

A little more info for you.

THe DZ is a great rest, but I thought I would give you a few more details on it compared to the others mentions such as the TT and the MZE.

In my experience, along with the vast numbers of posts I have read...

Durability
1. MZE
2. TT
3. DZ

I have only read one post about a broken muzzy, a couple on the TT (most of which were dropped from trees and were bent back in place, very tough), and the most on the DZ. I am not saying that the DZ is a bad rest. The fact is that I can't; the sheer numbers of people that shoot them speaks volumes. However, I have read the most posts about breakage (among these three rests) on the DZ. A couple fell apart, a couple had springs break, and a couple had the arms break or bend.

Accuracy

I think they are all about the same; however I think that the TT and the MZE do a better job at centering the arrow in the same spot every time. The arm of the DZ seems a little bit to gradual as if the arrow could slide around easier on the arm. THis is just a opinion of mine and I have not heard anyone complain about it, so it must work fine.

Quietness

1. MZE
2. DZ
3. TT

As far as quietness goes. This has been my observation. and I have seen and delt with a ton of these rests.

THis is just some added info. Take it for what it's worth. It is based on what I have read and witnessed myself.

wow, certainly in the minority with the qt2000. I like the concept and all behind the dz, especially the way everyone backs it up here. didn't know they were so widely used. one thing I like better on my nap is the fact that the 'activator' for the rest is a cable. no worries there, but heck, can't argue with what everyone else has said about the dz!

I use that rest on one of my older bows, It works great. The only problem I have ever had was one season my cable loosened and wouldnt pull the tines all the way up. I did not notice until I drew on a deer. I noticed the rest was not all the way up. It wasnt the rests fault, I should have checked the cable before going out. [:@]

another satisfied DZ user here. And as far as the "centering" factor, if you arent torqing your bow, it is centered every time. Just my .02 cents.
