Default RE: What drop away do you like

A little more info for you.

THe DZ is a great rest, but I thought I would give you a few more details on it compared to the others mentions such as the TT and the MZE.

In my experience, along with the vast numbers of posts I have read...

Durability
1. MZE
2. TT
3. DZ

I have only read one post about a broken muzzy, a couple on the TT (most of which were dropped from trees and were bent back in place, very tough), and the most on the DZ. I am not saying that the DZ is a bad rest. The fact is that I can't; the sheer numbers of people that shoot them speaks volumes. However, I have read the most posts about breakage (among these three rests) on the DZ. A couple fell apart, a couple had springs break, and a couple had the arms break or bend.

Accuracy

I think they are all about the same; however I think that the TT and the MZE do a better job at centering the arrow in the same spot every time. The arm of the DZ seems a little bit to gradual as if the arrow could slide around easier on the arm. THis is just a opinion of mine and I have not heard anyone complain about it, so it must work fine.

Quietness

1. MZE
2. DZ
3. TT

As far as quietness goes. This has been my observation. and I have seen and delt with a ton of these rests.

THis is just some added info. Take it for what it's worth. It is based on what I have read and witnessed myself.
