Default I need help with my noisy rest.

I have a Martin Tracer bow that has a plain old rest, the ones with the black plastic on the arms that hold the arrow. Problem is that I have been practicing so much that I keep wearing through the plastic and down to the metal and it makes this scraping noise on my carbon arrows when I pull back.

Can you guys recommend a fix or rest that doesn't have these wear issues? Thanks.

Let them wear then right before opening day go get a pack of heat shrink tube from Radio Shack and a Bic lighter. A $2.50 "repair kit" in your pocket will get you going in just a few.
