What is the most # of deer you have seen in a single day hunting,and what state

i saw 20 deer one evening back in 2000. it had rained all day then quit at about 4 p.m. i was hunting on the edge of a pasture. deer were sighted at 5 yards out to 200 yards. i hunt in georgia.

Year before last I had 26 deer around my tree stand, however most
of them were does with yearlings, and young bucks.

Bowhunting near natural spring in heavy wooded area also natural funnel. Mid October had 7 bucks in bachelor group come within shooting range. All shooters in my eyes, never could get a shot though it was nerve racking, allways had one or two looking. I still have not got over the experience. Just give me one at a time.

The most I've seen in a single setting is 22. That was two winters ago, here in Northwest Wisconsin. Most of them were were does and fawns, it was in a place where the doe/buck ratio is totally messed. I saw one buck, and it was a fork.

I had 38 in the field at the same time this past Monday! From 25 yds. to 200 yds........all does and fawns!!! I live in NC!

Two years ago hunting a pipeline in Texas I had 23 deer in view at the same time. Mature bucks, does, and fawns. It was really fun just to watch there interactions.

I would love to see that many deer in one day of hunting. If I had seen in excess of 20 deer here in pennsylvania mostly Hardwoods I would think I died and went to heaven. I would say for me perhaps 15 to 20.

One day in rifle season I saw 40 some over the course of the day. In archery I think the most I've ever seen in a single hunt was 11.
