I personally feel that if I don't recover the deer until after the meat spoils its not really considered a true kill. My personal beliefs there. I'd still take the rack, dunno if I'd mount it or not ............ but I would feel like it wasn't a kill.

How P&Y book judges it isn't my concern because I don't like them anyway and could care less.

If he's happy with it, good for him.
