RE: Anyone use a laser bow sight?
I have never used one reasons why
1) in Il they are illegal
2) I personally think they would show just how shakey you really are (like a scope on a rifle)
3) to much money
good luck and God bless

RE: Anyone use a laser bow sight?
I use an Eotech Holographic sight. It isn't a "laser" sight, but in NJ it is illegal to use anything that projects a beam/ light onto the target (deer). As for the Eotech, it is awsome. It is just like the reticle in a gun scope. Additionally, the customer service is unmatched. I had a problem with it and company fed-ex'd me a new one, no questions asked! I'd definitely suggest that you check one out, but get ready to drop about $350 for the sight and mount.
Hope this helps.

Is it a single dot that you set for one range?
How does it work on multiple ranges out to say 50 yards for the west?
Thanks

The reticle is composed of an outside circle, an inner circle w/ hash marks at noon,3,6,&9 o'clock that is projected out aprox 10 yds into space(hologram),and a dot that is in the very center. Line the three up and let 'er fly.
There is a fixed range guage built into the hologram that is visible if you cock it 5 degrees to the left which helps you judge distance. In regards to adjusting for distance, the mount is ajustable on a verticle slide. I usually keep it locked a 30yds and adjust my shot accordingly. The brightness of the hologram is also infinitely adjustable for low/bright light conditions.
Although it is expensive, I believe that it is a worthwile investment and I would use no other sight system. Additionally, it takes away the need for kisser buttons and peeps on your string. (potentially adding speed)
