I agree BOW. I from time to time will quote someone and even sometimes argue but I do with the intent to learn another persons perspective and not with the intent to cut someone down. You're right, we are all bow hunters here. we may not agree and we may debate from time to time but personal attacks are uncalled for and unproductive.
I don't think anyone should come here to post with the feeling they need to walk on egg shells. When that happens the quality of the dialog does down hill in a hurry and we all suffer from that.
Bottom line, speak your mind, debate if necessary but personal attacks have no place here. We are family!

Bo- Your sooo right. Have you noticed that alot of us " old forum " members don't post as much as we used to. We're still here sneakin around but we're very leary of what we post cause there's someone just waiting to pick it apart. I have gotten picked, 5-shot , Len in Maryland, Pinwheel, Rob/Pa, thats just a few of us. Some people on here just need to keep their traps shut.

I am new to bow hunting and need all the help and insight from people who have much more experience than I. Please do not let people who pick other peoples post apart influence you and the posting you do. Ignore them as if they were not there believe me it will not take long for the new people to figure out who they are and take them with a grain of salt. Please continue to post and share your wealth of knowledge and experience with us who are just starting out.
Thanks bones

Some people like a little controversy. I've had a few heated arguments on here, but for the most part I have made some great internet hunting buddies
When I feel like flaming someone, I go to the offseason of political forum.
Alot of passionate guys and gals in here, and sometimes that gets nasty. Hang in there brother, we need you!!

BOW -? I Agree a 110% Sometimes I have noticed that there are a few here that love to Quote and highlight then tear apart someones comment and twist it around and make it sound totaly wrong from the way it was intended to sound. (IMO) It is a very immuture and low class idiot that does things like that[:'(]. But for the most part I have found good respectful people here with good feed back on most post and comments. And I have been able to learn as well as give my own opion when trying to help on occasions without to much hassle.
We can all give opions and agree to disagree without personally attacking anyone.
I fill that I am among friends and family here and I fill that there are other here that fill the same. Even best friends will argue sometimes? But even worst enemys can still show respect[&:]

Great post, man, I applaud you. My own personal philosophy on here is to get on and learn from all the great hunting minds. My personal learning style is fairly confrontational, I like to lay out a theory and see if I can defend it, or if somebody can blow it out of the water. Even though I will argue a point at the drop of a hat, I try to keep my ego out of it.
Also, I see no value in the type of post where the first guy says something like "the only way to hunt whitetails is from a tree stand", and then you get 55 consecutive guys saying "yeah, you da' man, that's exactly what I think". How valuable is that? Personally, if I read a post that I agree with, I often just read it and go my merry way. Most of my responses are to the 10% of posts I disagree with, then I let go with both barrels. Again, I think there's more value in developing different sides of an issue, and let people figure out who they think is "right", or what will work in their hunting area.
