I like the plain scent killer sprays. I do use the earth scent spary on my boots sometimes. I hunt in an area with a lot of hemlock trees so I rub a hemlock branch on my chothes before the hunt. Hemlocks give off a really strong smell when you rub them on you.

i cant imagine it working myself, i dotn want any scent on me, unless its like a pine limb or something natural there are some kinds of weeds here where i hunt that when you crush them they give off a odor i have used them with some success before

I use the earth wafers and the earth scent spray. I think its the best cover scent out there. But I must say this, buy new every year. I usually put one in my bag and hang 1 on each side of my boots. Then when I get to the stand I take one off and lower down on my utility rope about 3 ft off the ground to mask any scent. I like the wafers becuz you dont have to apply to your clothes when I use spray usually I spray just boots and hands, face. When you go applying scents to your clothes I think you ruin your clothes over time. espically with (fox Urine), If your gonna use that get those tinks scent bombs or a wick, or a boot pad. I've heard or read that whitetails are very curious, And if you have noticed that when a farmer plows or tills a field you might see a couple deer in that field right after or not long after he does. I think they are attracted to fresh earth smell. but I also think that if you get busted alot, or shoot and miss, and this happens alot. that they relate that smell to danger. I have also used pine braches or sap. becuz mostly all I hunt is pines but the wafers smell like pine sol. I apply a lil sap to the tip of my boots. also if I see any fresh deer droppings ill walk all in them and use this to cover my scent. Sometimes I go in totally scent free, it depends........... good luck to all this yr.
