Default Earth scent wafers

I bought some after reading some positive posts on here. The ones I got have a strong chemical smell[X(]. Last year, when deer would get downwind, they would get a little nervous and sometimes sneak away. So for this year the deer can' t get out of there fast enough, but not without blowing 3 or 4 times. I think that I am going to rewash and scentproof everything, and go back to the earthscent Scent-a-Way spray. I know the same company makes them both, but to me they don' t smell anything alike.
Maybe I can use them to redirect the deer to my spot by placing them on the other trails and scaring them into using the trail that I am on. I have heard of people using dirty socks that way.

If you want to put a fresh earth scent into your hunting clothes do what I do make my own.

Just get some dirt from your hunting area and put it into zip lock bags.
Punch some small holes in the bag, open the bag and sprinkle some water onto the dirt and reseal the bag, place bag at the bottom of your scent safe container and stack your hunting clothes on top seal the scent safe container.

The next time you open the container all your clothes will have that natural earth scent.

When the dirt dries out just sprinkle some more water and it is refreshed.
